Sahithi Kasim is a graduate student currently pursuing her Masters in Information Security at Purdue University, West Lafayette. Sahithi has a solid foundation in computer programming languages including Python, Java, C, C++, HTML/CSS, MySQL, and Javascript. She is also proficient in various frameworks and packages such as Numpy, Pandas, Pytorch, Keras-tensorflow, and Spring Boot, and holds a certificate in Security Fundamentals from Microsoft Technology Associate.
Sahithi is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University on GUAC-ALYTICS, where she is currently analyzing various Debian packages and dependencies to identify risks and vulnerabilities in the OSS supply chain. Previously, she served as a Business Trainee at Telstra, where she developed a Java Crypto Util package to encrypt and decrypt application’s secrets to increase application security.
