This year’s International Conference on Computational Social Science (IC2S2 2017) received a total of 298 submissions. Professor Sabine Brunswicker and research fellow Satyam Mukherjee’s paper on: “Problem-centric Network Embeddedness and Productivity in Open Source Software Communities” has been accepted for oral presentation at IC2S2 2017 being held between July 11 and July 13.

Our director at the Research Center for Open Digital Innovation has recently been nominated for the position of Track Chair for the Academy of Management Specialized Conference on Big Data, to be held at the University of Surrey, UK, on 18-20 April 2018.

It marked one and a half year since I got to know Professor Sabine. Today is a special day as I won the battle with my fought with leukemia. When my condition worsened in earlier April, she stepped in quickly to complete the tasks that I was supposed to do.
