Prof. Sabine Brunswicker will chair a unique panel symposium at the 2014 Academy of Management Meeting taking place August 1-5 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: “Resolving the Debate on Competition and Collaboration in Open Innovation Crowds”.
To establish a novel interdisciplinary program in open digital innovation, the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation (TLI) expects to hire candidates at the Assistant Professor level starting fall 2014. The position involves scholarship in research, teaching, and engagement as it is required for tenure and promotion in rank.
In a study that surveyed large firms in Europe and the United States, Dr. Brunswicker and Dr. Henry Chesbrough (UC Berkeley) examine the extent to which large firms are practicing open innovation.
Dr. Sabine Brunswicker will be a panel speaker on standards and innovation at the European Commission event Innovation Convention 2014 The Innovation Convention is an essential part of the Innovation Union flagship initiative, the European Union strategy which aims to create an innovation-friendly environment that makes it easier for great ideas to be turned into products and services that will bring our economy growth and jobs.
Sabine has recently joined the Experts’ Panel for FutureEnterprise, a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project funded under the European Commission FP7 Programme. FutureEnterprise aims to support the research activities in Internet-based Enterprise innovation and Future Internet from the perspective and for the benefit of enterprises on the basis of an open mentality to bridge the past with the future.
